Sinopsis:
Seorang anak yang kini berusia 6 tahun sudah mengikuti kakek dan neneknya mendengar ceramah pagi Master sejak dia berusia 2 tahun. Setiap hari pagi-pagi sekali, neneknya akan membangunkannya dan dia akan segera bangun untuk bersiap-siap mendengar Dharma. Neneknya berkata bahwa dia tak pernah merengek. Dia selalu duduk di samping neneknya dengan patuh dan mendengar ceramah Master dengan sungguh-sungguh.
Master berkata bahwa mungkin di kehidupan lampau, anak ini juga menapaki jalan yang ditunjukkan Sutra. Ini bukan tidak mungkin karena tabiat orang pada kehidupan ini dipengaruhi oleh kehidupan sebelumnya. Jika kita menyerap ajaran yang baik di kehidupan lampau, maka pada kehidupan ini, hati kita akan mengarah pada kebaikan. Jika kita berbuat jahat pada kehidupan lampau, maka benih dan jalinan jodoh buruk ini akan mengikuti kita ke kehidupan ini dan akan terus menuntun kita untuk melakukan kesalahan.
Untuk mempersiapkan ceramah pagi, Master harus menghabiskan banyak waktu pada malam sebelumnya. Terkadang, saat ingin menulis satu kata, Master terus berpikir bagaimana menulisnya agar semua orang dapat memahaminya dengan mudah dan jelas. Pada siang hari Master sangat sibuk karena Master tahu bahwa Master harus menggenggam waktu. Master tak bersedia menyia-nyiakan hidupnya.
